Soldier suspected of smuggling Palestinians into Israel
An Israel Defense Forces soldier serving in the Kirya base in Tel Aviv is suspected of transferring Palestinians from the West Bank into Israeli territory for money, Ynet learned.
The soldier was arrested and investigators are checking whether he used his commander's vehicle to smuggle the illegal aliens. A remand hearing will be held Thursday at the military court. (Hanan Greenberg)
