Mohammad Hatib, considered one of the spearheads of the protest movement in Bilin, was arrested by IDF forces Wednesday night, according to Palestinian reports.
Hatib predicted in an interview with Ynet on Wednesday that the national struggle taking place in the West Bank would spread and reach the level of a popular intifada similar to the one that took place in 1987. Hatib's family said that soldiers conducted two searches on his house and confiscated documents without presenting a search warrant. (Ali Waked)
