Barak: Response to Goldstone Report meets duty to soldiers

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Friday that Israel's response report to the Goldstone Report "addresses all of Operation Cast Lead's events. It illustrates that the IDF is a serious, responsible and moral army which operates under impossible conditions."
During a tree plating ceremony organized by the National Jewish Fund Barak said, "The Goldstone Report is warped, unbalanced and warrants a response. The State of Israel meets its paramount duty in submitting the report: Commanders and soldiers need to know that the State is always behind them." (Ilana Curiel)
