Police refuse to allow National Union to tour entrance areas to Temple Mount

Fearing it could spark unrest, police refused to permit National Union faction members to tour the Temple Mount entrance areas in the Old City of Jerusalem.
In a message sent to the faction, the police wrote that such a tour was liable to spark off conflict with residents of the Moslem quarter of the Old City and increase tensions regarding the Temple Mount. (Amnon Meranda)
