UN chief to send special envoy to North Korea
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is to send a special envoy to North Korea next week, his office said Sunday, amid international efforts to bring Pyongyang back into disarmament talks on its nuclear weapons program.
UN political chief B. Lynn Pascoe will visit North Korea from February 9-12 as Ban's special envoy to discuss "all issues of mutual interest and concern in a comprehensive manner," Ban's office said in a statement. (AP)
