Egypt uncovers 3 smuggling tunnels on Gaza border
Egyptian security forces have uncovered three smuggling tunnels on the border with Gaza, the Palestinian Maan news agency reported. The tunnels were apparently intended for the smuggling of motorcycles and auto parts.
Egyptian security sources report that the Palestinians have concentrated the tunnels in the areas where a steel underground barrier between Gaza and Egypt has not yet been completed, and that the smuggling in areas where the barrier is in place has declined. (Roee Nahmias)
