Former aide to Netanyahu to head Yesha Council
The leadership of the Yesha Council has appointed Naftali Bennett to the position of director. Bennett has previously served as Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu's chief of staff, and fought in the Second Lebanon War. His candidacy was supported by the chairman, Danny Dayan.
Bennett was appointed after the outgoing director, Pinchas Wallerstein, announced his resignation. (Efrat Weiss)
