Environmental Ministry: Reducing power rates erroneous
The Environmental Protection Ministry said Monday that the decision to reduce electricity rates was "a grave error."
"The Public Utility Authority has made a grave mistake and the public will pay the price for it," said a ministry statement. "A short-term reduction will lead to increased demand and as a result more polluting power plants would have to be built." (Ynet)
