Police to continue shoreline canvass at night
Head of the police's Operations Department Major-General Benzi Sau decided to continue with scans along the coastline during the night following the uncovering of explosive devices in the Ashkelon and Ashdod beaches.
Police presence in public beaches will be maintained Tuesday and the public will be prohibited from entering the water in southern Israel. Police are urging the public to remain alert and report any detection of a suspicious object. (Efrat Weiss)
