Psych ward patient suspected of threatening MKs
Police have arrested a 65-year old resident of Bnei Brak on suspicion that he threatened to harm MKs and officials with the Israel Prison Service.
The man is suspected of sending letters to the IPS in which he justifies the actions of Yigal Amir, who assassinated former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and threatenes to hurt MKs. Police say he sent the letters from the psychiatric ward at Tel Hashomer Hospital, where he is currently being treated. (Avi Cohen)
