Barak speaks with UN chief on regional peace efforts
Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and updated him on achievements made in the peace process by US special envoy to the Middle East, George Mitchell.
The two also spoke of the compensation Israel owes the UN for damage done to its structures in the Gaza Strip during Operation Cast Lead. (Roni Sofer)
