Fayyad: No peace without accepting Palestinian state

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said that "there cannot be peace unless the perception that the Palestinians must have a state will be fully accepted."

According to Fayyad, "We are in a situation of a political deadlock, and it seems that progressing towards the goal is being prevented because there are no negotiations." Fayyad made the remarks in an address to the Herliya Conference. (Roni Sofer)
