MK Horowitz: Israel Fund probe - dangerous political persecution
Knesset Member Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz) says that an investigation against the New Israel Fund would be "a political persecution of the worst kind," in response a demand made by MK Otniel Shcneller (Kadima) to appoint a parliamentary commission of inquiry to look into the testimonies Israeli organizations gave Judge Richard Goldstone.
"All those in Israel involved in protecting minorities, human rights and the freedom of speech are being persecuted by the Netanyahu-Barak-Lieberman-Yishai coalition, which is joined by parts of Kadima who really belong in the extreme Right," Horowitz said. (Amnon Meranda)
