The US and Russia reached an "agreement in principle" for a treaty to reduce the nuclear arsenals of the two countries, according to what sources close to the talks reported to the Wall Street Journal.
The treaty is meant to replace the START treaty signed in 1991 that expired at the end of 2009. The deal will bring down the number of deployed nuclear warheads and will significantly limit the number of bombers and missiles capable of delivering them. (Ynet)
