Givat Shmuel council member arrested, suspected of tax evasion

The Israel Tax Authority arrested Yeremi Bloom, businessman and member of Givat Shmuel municipality council, on suspicion of forging accounts to a value of NIS 2.4 million ($650,000) and thus avoiding taxes of NIS 300,000 ($81,000). Bloom denies the allegations. (Avi Cohen)
