MK Hasson champions bill proposing bypassing court on legislation approval
Knesset Member Yoel Hasson and chairman of the Knesset's State Control Committee said that the bill proposing to prevent the Supreme Court from nullifying Knesset laws creates the right balance between the two bodies.
"There is definitely a need for an apparatus that is able to secure Knesset laws and limit the interference of the Judicial Authority in matters of the Legislative Authority. In my view, the bill creates the right balance between the authority," MK Hasson said. (Amnon Meranda)
