The Jerusalem-based BAE Systems Rokar company has signed a $25 million contract with the US Army. The company will supply the American military with thermal night vision cameras.
The cameras will be installed on the tail lights of off-road vehicles and will provide the fighters with an image of what is taking place behind the car.
The deal is expected to include 10,000 vehicles.
Rokar is an Israeli subsidiary of the international corporation BAE Systems. The company employs 140 workers in Israel.
