FM: National disputes become religious wars

"The clash of civilizations that we are afraid to speak of is dictating what is going on in the international community," Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told a Bar-Ilan University conference.

"National disputes become religious wars. This is a dramatic development, unlike anything we've seen before. You cannot solve a religious dispute with territorial concessions," he said. (Attila Somfalvi)
