State threatens legal action against students on strike in Emanuel
The State has informed the High Court of Justice that it will pursuit legal action against female students of the ultra-Orthodox Beit Yaakov school in the settlement of Emanuel should they continue to strike, despite the decision to cancel the separation between Ashkenazi and Sephardic pupils.
The State Prosecutor's Office's response noted that an inspector on behalf of the local council will be visiting the school in the coming days, and will explain to the parents the steps that may be taken against their daughters. (Aviad Glickman)
