Canadian minister: We'll endorse Israel's OECD membership
Canadian minister of finance James M. Flaherty promised Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz his country's support in the addition of Israel to the Organization of Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) while the two met in Ottawa.
The vote on Israel's membership in the organization will be held at the end of May 2010. In order to join the OECD, Israel would need the support of all member states. (Zvi Lavi)
