PM talks with Lieberman on Syria: Israel wants negotiations
Head of the National Information Directorate Nir Hefetz said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken with Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman regarding the latter's comments about Syria.
"The two are clarifying government policy," Hefetz said. "Israel seeks peace and wants negotiations with Syria without any preconditions. At the same time, Israel will continue to stand firm before any threats." (Attila Somfalvi)
