US arrests Taiwan passport holder over Iran exports

US federal agents have arrested a Taiwan passport holder, Yi-Lan Chen, on charges of illegally exporting commodities for Iran's missile program, the US Attorney's Office in south Florida said on Thursday.

According to the affidavit, Chen, who was arrested on Wednesday, facilitated the purchase and export of various dual- use goods from the United States to Iran by way of Taiwan and Hong Kong. (Reuters)
