US to donate $40 million to UNRWA
The United States announced it will donate $40 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
Thirty million dollars will be allocated to basic services that the agency provides to Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The remainder sum will be especially allocated to the West Bank and Gaza and will include food deliveries and a program to create work places. (Yitzhak Benhorin)
