China: Six powers should explore Iran overture

The five permanent UN Security Council members and Germany should explore whether Iran really wants to accept a UN nuclear fuel exchange proposal, a Chinese UN diplomat said on Friday.

The six powers should "take that offer and see if the Iranians really mean to want to have a breakthrough in the negotiations," the diplomat said, speaking on condition of anonymity. (Reuters)
