2 peace activists arrested near Ramallah without stay permit
Two female peace activists from Spain and Australia were arrested Sunday morning after IDF forces raided a house in Ramallah where the two were staying. They were arrested for suspicion of overstaying their visa expiration date and transferred for investigation by Oz Unit, which began their deportation process.
Following an appeal to the High Court filed by the organization affiliated with the two activists, the court issued an injunction that ordered the police to delay the activists' deportation until after their hearing, which is scheduled for Monday. (Ali Waked)
