2 Palestinians flee Border Guard near Beit Shemesh; 1 detained
One Palestinian was detained and a police chase is underway for another Palestinian, after the two fled a Border Guard force by car. The Border Guard officers spotted a suspicious vehicle near Beit Shemesh, ordered the drivers stop and fired gunshots in the air.
The Palestinians began to flee, and tried to hit the force's jeep with their vehicles. They then began driving in the direction of the village of Jabaa in Gush Etzion. The two later got out of the car and one of them was arrested. (Efrat Weiss)
