IDF: Consistent drop in soldier dropout since 2000
The amount of soldiers leaving the IDF during their army service is slated to be reduced by half within two years compared to the dropout rate in the beginning of the decade, according to recent evaluations of the IDF Personnel Directorate.
"A line of steps in a variety of areas has resulted in the fact that more soldiers finish their service in the proper way," a senior IDF official told Ynet and added, "We don't have the privilege of losing soldiers during their service." (Hanan Greenberg)
