A few dozen activists for the release of Gilad Shalit gathered near Hadarim Prison with the objective of blocking family members of Palestinian prisoners from visiting their relatives in jail.
Hadar Miller, one of the events organizers, said, "It is absurd that the Palestinian prisoners in Israel have cellular phones, television with 12 channels, canteen services, and family visits, while the Israeli captive isn't even afforded the right of one visit for three and a half years."
