FM visits Azerbaijan; asks for assistance in talks with Palestinians
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman met with the president of Azerbaijan Tuesday and asked him to stress before Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is scheduled to visit the country, the importance of resuming peace talks with Israel.
Lieberman also met with the Azeri foreign minister and discussed with the two officials matters of cooperation on water desalination, education etc. (Roni Sofer)
