Following the attack at Tapuach Junction, Samaria Regional Council Chairman Gershon Mesika said that the attack was carried out by a senior PA police officer. "Again a Jew has been murdered pointlessly as a result of the irresponsibility of the government."
"All the recent murders in Samaria have been carried out by PA police and Fatah activists. The Netanyahu government continues the irresponsible policies of the Olmert government and enables Fatah freedom of movement," he added. (Efrat Weiss)
