Hamas: Militant killed in 'special operation'
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing said that one of its members was killed Thursday morning during an "operation." The organization said that the militant from Gaza was killed during a special mission whose details were not divulged.
Earlier Thursday the IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced that the army opened fire at a force operating near the border fence in the central Gaza Strip. The Palestinians reported that two sisters were injured by IDF artillery fire. (Ali Waked)
