Syria condemns tax relief for Golan Heights residents

Syria has condemned a bill approved by the Knesset on Wednesday, which provides tax relief for residents of the Golan Heights. Official Syrian news agency SANA reported that "this decision's approval shows Israel's does not want peace."

A senior official at the Foreign Ministry in Damascus added that "this is an illegitimate move which contradicts international law and the UN resolutions." (Roee Nahmias)
