Indian minister: Chabad House was target of attack

Indian Home Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram told reports that the Chabad House in the western city of Pune was the target of an attack which killed nine people and wounded 57.

"This particular area has been on the radar (of terrorists) for quite some time," Chidambaram said. "Police were sensitized that Chabad House was a target, so was the Osho Ashram." (AP)
