Ministerial committee to discuss Ukraine visa entries formed
The cabinet decided to form a ministerial committee to authorize moves towards cancelling the entry visa requirement for tourists coming to Israel from Ukraine.
Sitting on the committee will be a majority of the Yisrael Beiteinu ministers. In addition, the cabinet authorized Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman to start negotiations with the Ukraine on the issue. This is the proffered compromise that combines the positions of the prime minister, the foreign minister, and the interior minister on the matter. (Roni Sofer)
