US chief of staff says hopes sanctions on Iran won't lead to conflict

Admiral Michael Mullen, Chairman of the United States' Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) said that the US administration is very serious in its plans to impose heavy sanctions on Iran and expressed hope that the step will not result in a conflict, during a press briefing at the US Embassy in Tel Aviv.
