British soldier killed by explosion in Afghanistan

Britain's Ministry of Defense says a soldier has died from an explosion in southern Afghanistan.
The ministry says the death is not connected to the massive NATO operation in Marjah.
It says the soldier from 6 Rifles was killed by an explosion while on foot patrol earlier Sunday near Sangin, in Helmand province. (AP)
