Man fatally stabs 2 people in northern Germany

Authorities say a man stabbed two people to death at a housing project in northern Germany and injured a police officer who was called to the scene.
Prosecutor Peter Lueckemann says the 51-year-old suspect repeatedly stabbed a man with a kitchen knife outside his apartment in Rostock before turning the knife on a woman who had witnessed the attack and rushed to help the victim. Both died of their injuries. (AP)
