Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz participated in the seventh Jerusalem Conference and said, "We can generate new growth and return to a 5% growth rate as we had between 2004-2008, if we behave correctly and use our advantages."
Steinitz added that the other goal would be to "make sure the growth will induce a minimization of gaps in Israeli society and not their widening". He said a good way to achieve this goal would be to increase the participation of Arabs and haredim in the work force. (Ynet)
