The Justice Ministry has begun to implement a new policy granting wheelchair access to all public buildings in Israel. The ministry stressed that the first step of the plan would be carried out this year.
Justice Ministry Director-General Guy Rotkopf said of the plan, "We believe that the entire public of the State of Israel should receive good and professional service. The Justice Ministry will provide everything demanded of it, and will even go further out of an equal rights standpoint." (Aviad Glickman)
