Ehud Olmert's media adviser, Amir Dan, praised the court's decision to open his trial on schedule.
"We commend the District Court's decision not to postpone the trial," Dan told Ynet. Judges Moussia Arad, Jacob Zaban and Moshe Sobel wrote in their decision that court continuances were major factors in the dragging on of court procedures and "could harm the public and the litigators".
