FM sources: Ambassadors will not take responsibility for Mabhouh hit

Israeli Ambassador to the UK Ron Prosor arrived at the British Foreign Ministry for a frank talk about the assassination of senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Mabhouh. Jerusalem expressed its satisfaction with the nature of the invite, and emphasized that there is no intention to create a crisis around the falsified British passports allegedly used by Mabhouh's assassins.
According to sources in the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem, Israel's ambassadors will not accept responsibility for the hit. They also noted that the fact the ambassadors in Britain and Ireland were invited and not summoned for a meeting creates a more pleasant atmosphere. (Roni Sofer)
