French FM: Dubai killing 'shows need for peace'

France's Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said the assassination of Hamas official Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai last month underscored the need for peace in the Middle East.

"(The case) shows the need for peace and a Palestinian state, immediately," Kouchner said in an interview with Journal du Dimanche weekend paper, to be published on Saturday. (AP)
