Steinitz: Iran sanctions essential to show US' determination to stop nuclear program

Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz met with US Deputy Secretary of State Jacob Lew. The two discussed the importance of placing international sanctions on Iran and Israel's acceptance into the WTO.
Steinitz told Lew that the sanctions must be placed promptly in order to prove to Iranians, to Israel and the whole world that the US is determined to prevent Iran from attaining nuclear weapons. (Roni Sofer)
