Report: PM was briefed on Mabhouh killing, approved operation

The British Sunday Times reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Mossad headquarters in early January and was briefed on the plan to assassinate Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai. The paper reported that Netanyahu approved the operation.
According to the report, the prime minister told the Mossad agents: "The people of Israel are counting on you. Good luck." (Ynet)
