Bangladesh tribals clash with settlers; 100 hurt

Authorities in Bangladesh deployed the army to the southeastern hill region after more than 100 people were injured in clashes between tribals and Bengali settlers, police and local media said on Sunday.
At least two people were killed in the clashes that raged throughout Saturday in the Rangamati Hill District, about 350 km (220 miles) from the capital Dhaka, the worst violence in the area in years. (Reuters)
