MK El-Sana: Make Mohammad's birthday day off from school

MK Taleb al-Sana (United Arab List-Ta'al) addressed Education Minister Gideon Saar with a request to declare this upcoming Thursday as a day off from schools in the Arab education system in order to mark the birthday of the Prophet Mohammad.
"According to the ruling of the sharia court, which is the highest authority in this field, the Education Ministry must grant the request," he explained. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
