Jordan Valley Brigade commander slams rightist infiltration of Jericho

Commander of the Jordan Valley Brigade, Colonel Yochai Ben-Yishai, said a female Border Guard officer and an IDF officer were injured when trying to evacuate rightists who had infiltrated Jericho. He said an army jeep's tires were also slashed.
"The entrance into Palestinian territories is unnecessary. There are arranged entries into the synagogue and there is no need for provocations. This was a superfluous event that could have endangered lives," Ben-Yishai said. (Efrat Weiss)
