Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Moratinos expressed "deep concern" with the use of European passports made by the assassins of Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai last month.
Spain currently holds the rotating European Union presidency, and the EU's foreign ministers are expected to condemn the assassination. EU sources announced that there would be "quite a strong statement" and that "it doesn't matter if it doesn't mention Israel, the message will be clear." (AFP)
