Soldiers discover explosive, knife in Palestinians belongings at checkpoint

The Kfir Brigade's Haruv Batallion discovered an explosive device and a 30 cm (about 11.8 in) knife in the belongings of Palestinian at a checkpoint east of Nablus.
Police sappers were dispatched to the spot, and the soldiers confiscated the weapon. A number of explosive devices and knives have recently been spotted at this checkpoint as Palestinians attempt to smuggle them into Israel. (Hanan Greenberg)
