An extra set of UN climate talks will be held in Germany in April to try to boost efforts to combat global warming after a UN summit in Copenhagen fell short of agreeing a new treaty, key nations agreed on Monday.
"The meeting will be held in Bonn on April 9-11," a delegate said of the decision by an 11-member group representing key nations meeting at the UN Climate Change Secretariat. The April meeting, of senior government officials, would be preceded by one-day preparatory talks among key groups of nations. (Reuters)
